Pan-Seared Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the fillets in the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on thickness, until the fish is crispy on the outside and cooked through.
In the last minute of cooking, add butter, garlic, and lemon juice. Stir to make a quick sauce.
Spoon the sauce over the salmon and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
