Elk Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
Ingredients:
1 lb ground elk meat
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine elk meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
Meanwhile, heat marinara sauce in a large pot.
Add meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve with spaghetti or garlic bread.
